As stated in this post, I've decided on 2 new events to participate in at the start of 2012. The first one is the Cupid's Chase 5k in Manhattan in February. As of yesterday (Sunday), I am 10 weeks away. This morning I started doing some run intervals at the track in preparation for starting my 8 weeks to a 5k workout podcast routine I downloaded on iTUNES. My weight training routine will stay the same as this one.
And now on to the portion I dread. . . . . here are my "new" starting stats and before shots. Oh, and by the way, after reviewing these shots I have to apologize for the quality. I didn't realize how much clutter was in the background when I took them. I promise the next set will have less going on.
Front shot: My wider mid-section makes me look shorter than I really am. At 5 feet 3 and a half inches tall, that's not cool.
Side View: More water to flush me out is a must. I've got to stay away from sugar, too much salt and definitely make sure I get my cardio in to slim this waistline.
Close Up of Midsection: In order to get some definition here I need to workout and eat right, consistently.
Bicep Shot: There's much fat to be burned in order to show off the guns!

I have nothing to say about these numbers . . . . and pictures, other than I haven't been THIS big in quite some time. . . . . however, that's about to change :-) I'll have another update in 2 weeks (December 19th).
